We all remember school dinners. Some have fond memories and others recall lumpy mash and cold custard. But what if that lunchtime meal is the only one you will get that day and definitely the only nourishing food you can rely on. The BBC Website recently carried the the following article about the Indian Government's failing scheme to feed children in State Schools.
Children attending Jisu Niketan School in Matigara have no such concerns, as part of our commitment to the school pays for a nutritious midday meal for all pupils. We also cover the salaries of kitchen and support staff. Your support helps us keep this school running year on year. Only this month we sent money to run the school for the current academic year.
Best wishes, Phil.
